Affiliate disclosure

How we are funded, in full

BritCasinoVault is free to read because operators pay us a commission when readers sign up through our links. Here is exactly what that means.

The commission relationship

We take part in affiliate programmes run by the casino operators we review, and sometimes through marketing networks that represent them. When you click a “Visit operator” button and then register or deposit, the operator may pay us a one-off fee or a share of revenue. The links carry tracking parameters so the operator can recognise that the visit came from us.

This is the standard way comparison sites are funded. It costs you nothing — the offer, price and terms you receive are identical to going to the operator directly.

What commission does not change

This is the part that matters most. A commercial arrangement does not buy a better score, a kinder review or a higher position in our list. We decide on the editorial assessment using a fixed method before any commercial consideration, and we will publish a critical point about a paying partner just as readily as a positive one.

  • Scores come from our review method, not from commission rates.
  • The order of operators is editorial and is reshuffled between editions.
  • No operator gets to preview, approve or edit what we write about them.

Plain summary. If you use our links, we may earn money. That keeps the lights on. It does not change our opinion, the scores or the running order.

Why we still flag this everywhere

Affiliate funding only works as a model if readers understand it. That is why the disclosure appears on the homepage, beside the comparison table, in the footer and here in detail. We would rather over-explain it than have anyone assume our reviews are something they are not.

We are not the operator

Following our link takes you to a separate, licensed company. Once you are on their site, their terms, privacy policy and account rules apply — not ours. Any winnings, bonuses, verification or payment questions are entirely a matter for them. If something needs correcting on our side, the contact page is the place to tell us.
